Winston Home Designs Shipping & Delivery Policies


Our Shipping & Delivery Policies


Furniture Shipping & Delivery 

Shipping is an extra fee that is not included with the price of the item unless otherwise stated.

We ship our furniture  White Glove, or Blanket Wrapped Delivery. We work

with a short list of  trusted Carriers that take special care in the wrapping and delivery of our furniture. Shipping White Glove or Blanket Wrapped may take up to 2-4 weeks for delivery, depending on your location. If you live in a building that requires special permissions,  insurance certificates for deliveries, or limited delivery times, please contact us prior to purchase to see if our Carriers can accommodate you. Once the Carrier has picked up your item they are responsible in the unlikely event of damage, until it is delivered to your home. We remain in close contact during the process to make sure everything goes smoothly. We do require a designated receiver 18 or over to accept delivery, and sign the delivery form.


For shipping products other than furniture: 

Shipping is an extra fee that is not included with the price of the item unless otherwise stated.

Items usually ship within 7-10 business days upon receipt of funds. Items are insured up to $50 with extra optional insurance coverage if needed. We require a signature for receipt of the package, and tracking number will be provided to you once packages have shipped. We take great care in packaging and shipping our items, with photos and/or videos of the process, Once the package is delivered, the buyer needs to inspect the contents carefully. In the unlikely event damage has occured, please take photos and contact us immediately. We will help you to determine if you need to file a claim with your carrier. (USPS)

We receive regular email tracking updates from USPS, and are notified of each package delivery. If you do not receive your product after USPS has marked the status as “Delivered” ; you must notify us personally via email at winstonhomedesigns@gmail.com within 24 hours. We also have a contact form on this website that will send an email directly to us. When we  receive email confirmation from USPS  and hear nothing from you, we will assume everything is satisfactory.


Colors:

We use digitized photography for our photos. Although we do our best to show the true finished color of the piece, colors may vary depending on the device you are viewing them with. We will be happy to send you any extra pictures, or video of the products you are interested in .


Character Marks:

A lot of time we deal with vintage pieces, that we are able to restore and bring new beauty to. Because of their age, many will have slight imperfections that are not able to be completely

removed, and in some cases, we don’t want them removed! We will always stand behind the 

quality of our work, but we can not  guarantee wear and tear, once they are in your home. We do include care tags, and instructions for the proper upkeep of your refinished pieces, to ensure

their lasting beauty. We have also included a short article on how to care for your furniture in our

Blog posts section.


Cancellations:

We do not accept cancellations, but please contact us if you have any problems with your

order.


Returns or Refunds:

Because of the nature of our business, we do not accept returns, or give refunds on these items unless they are damaged or defective. We require written notice via email to winstonhomedesigns@gmail.com and a digital photo within 24 hours, of any damage that has occurred during any shipment or delivery.

Buyer is responsible for any return shipping cost. You must let us know within 24 hours of delivery if there are any problems. Products must be shipped back within 7 days of delivery. (Furniture may take a longer timeframe) If a buyer returns any product in such a way that is causes more damage in shipping, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
